Saturday, February 18, 10 am – 4 pm, at the Victoria Conference Centre, 720 Douglas Street
Gather up any garden books that you’ve outgrown and bring them along to Seedy Saturday. Trade them for some new reading material or just donate them – either way, your old friends will find a treasured home with another gardener.
We take any kind of gardening book, magazine, or pamphlet – anything that might be of interest or use to another gardener.
Where do I take them?
The Book Exchange is in the upstairs lobby, across from the entrance doors to the exhibit hall.
How do I do a trade?
The volunteers will estimate the value of what you bring in and then you can pick out items of roughly the same value to take.
I don’t have anything to trade. Can I buy a book from the exchange?
Yes, the (modest) prices for each item are displayed at the table.
I have a lot of books. Is there someplace I can drop them off beforehand?
Yes. If you have more than you want to bring with you or (for some utterly incomprehensible reason) can’t make it to Seedy Saturday, email email@example.com to arrange a more convenient drop-off time and place. Or you can arrange for one of our volunteers to pick up your donation.
