As one of Victoria’s oldest winter fairs, we try to throw a community party with fun for everyone, young and old alike. So if you are wondering about bringing the kids, please do: we’ve got lots of great activities to keep the small fry happy. Kids can get their faces painted, meet The Chicken Lady’s live chickens, learn to make a bracelet, and watch flax being turned into linen.
There’s also a great line-up of kid-friendly entertainment, including Oh! Ogopogo!, VIBESTREET hip-hop dance, and the James Bay ChoirKids.
The cafe is open for the whole event, so tired and hungry young ones can be rested and refuelled. (Tired and hungry parents, too!) Stop in for a bowl of soup or a hot drink on your way to or from the lighted truck parade for a totally “get in the holiday spirit” outing for the whole family.
