This Saturday come and join us at the James Bay Community Market on the corner of Menzies and Superior, from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm for the last summer market of the season. Stock up on fruits and veggies, get some of your Christmas shopping done early, and enjoy good food and music.
At 9:30am listen to the rich, smooth vocals of Robert K combined with his tenor sax solos and versatile guitar playing that is sure to leave you feeling great. At 11:15 Duo lil’ Crow (Rhonda Broadfoot and Michael Nicholls) will play tunes in folk , pop and roots style rock n roll.
Daniel Cook and the Radiators will entertain you at 1pm with contagious melodies and timeless stories that are blended into a tasty mix of indie-folk, funk and country tunes that are sure to top off your day. Combine all of this with a great local shopping experience, great food and great friends and you have the way to spend the day!
While at the market, have your children visit our children play area where, between 10am and 1 pm you and your child can make your very own craft item to take home.
This is our last summer market for this year, but don’t forget to visit our Christmas market – the Dickens Fair, on Saturday December 2nd, from 10:00 am to 4:30 pm, at the James Bay Community Center at 140 Oswego Street.
The James Bay Community Market will be back for another season on the first Saturday in May – May 5th, 2018!
