A community tradition, the Dickens Fair is one of Victoria’s oldest and best-attended Holiday craft fairs opens its doors at 10:00 am today!
More than 60 talented local artisans have been very busy, and now you can come and visit and see their great results. You’ll find plenty of homemade, handmade, and one-of-a-kind items — there’s something for everyone on your holiday list!
Meet the makers of beautiful felted dolls and collector pieces, of decorative fused glassworks, sparkling jewelry, knitted items for children and adults, cheerful greetings cards and scenic art prints, pottery, ceramics, and holiday decorations.
Body care vendors create a variety of all-natural products for men and women including soaps, lip balms, shampoo and shaving bars, specialty face creams, salves, infused oils, gels, and body scrubs.
Holiday entertaining is effortless with organic beef and mouthwatering sausages, smoked cheeses, jams, jellies, marmalades, homemade crackers, and pickled vegetables to add to your appetizer trays. Those with a sweet tooth will appreciate the handmade chocolates and homemade baked goods (including gluten-free).
Join us at the 39th Annual Dickens Fair on December 7 from 10 am – 4:30 pm at the James Bay Community Centre, 140 Oswego Street in James Bay to meet all of our talented Vancouver Island artisans.
